For adolescent girls growing up in Sukma, a conflict-affected tribal district of Chhattisgarh, childhood can come with challenges that go beyond textbooks.

For many girls, menstruation is surrounded by silence, stigma and limited access to reliable information and supportive spaces. At the same time, opportunities to explore science, technology and hands-on learning remain limited.

At Shiksharth, we believe a girl's childhood should not be defined by the challenges of her geography. She deserves to understand her body without shame, explore science without hesitation, and dream without limitations.

This campaign brings together two essential opportunities for girls: Period Positive Spaces and STEM Education.

1. Period Positive Spaces - Creating safe, supportive environments where adolescent girls can understand menstruation with dignity and confidence.

Through interactive menstrual health workshops, contextual learning resources, awareness about safe menstrual practices, and access to essential support, we want every girl to feel informed, comfortable and cared for.

2. STEM Education: Sparking Curiosity  - Creating opportunities for girls to experience science, technology, engineering and mathematics beyond textbooks.

Through hands-on experiments, engaging STEM activities, learning kits and collaborative challenges, girls can build curiosity, problem-solving abilities and confidence to explore new possibilities.
